Show us what you make, West Virginia! Mark your calendars and join us as the West Virginia Makes Festival showcases Mountain State creativity and ingenuity. Now in its 13th year, the festival provides an opportunity for makers of all types and ages to exhibit their creations while competing for cash and other prizes. Don’t miss our celebration of creativity and ingenuity in all forms, as the event features interactive displays, hands-on making activities, and live music. The 2026 West Virginia Makes Festival, presented by the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center, will take place on the campus of Marshall University. Stay tuned for details.
How to Participate
Design Challenger
Bring your inventions, innovations or other creations, show festival goers what you’ve made and compete for cash and other prizes.
Exhibitor/Activity Provider
Showcase your creations or services you offer to support makers and/or provide hands-on activities for attendees.
Individual/Group Attendee
Bring yourself, family or friends – or a large group of students – and enjoy hours of interactive making in a multitude of forms.
