Additive Manufacturing

An early leader in the use of 3D Printing, the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center is home to an array of additive manufacturing equipment used by industries including medical manufacturing, aerospace, architecture, the arts, automotive, sporting goods and tourism.

Often within hours, you can produce a working prototype or a finished product from a digital file. In addition to thermoplastics, the center’s emerging technologies use composites, metal and other materials to produce objects that can be held, measured, tested and even used right off the print bed.

New industries and job opportunities are emerging because of advanced additive manufacturing. In addition to making these emerging technologies accessible and available in our Center for Innovation, our Apprenticeship Works program has expanded apprenticeship opportunities in additive manufacturing.

Even if your idea is just a sketch on a napkin, we can help you use additive manufacturing to bring it to life.
