Business Development

Many of the challenges facing West Virginia-area manufacturers are typical of those faced by manufacturing businesses worldwide, including the need to improve products, processes and overall competitiveness in response to persistent marketplace pressures.

Hundreds of members of our manufacturing community have come together to network, communicate, coordinate, and collectively improve their game.

Think of the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center as an extension of your business, not just for technical support which we have in spades, but also for connections to sales and supplier opportunities. Here are some ways we help.

Supply Chain Support

Would you like to get your business into a new supply chain? Who wouldn’t, right!?!

We regularly field requests from companies to help them source new suppliers and conversely, recommend opportunities for companies to pursue.

Supply Chain Expo

With our partners at the WV Development Office and Advantage Valley, we routinely host supply chain expos with large companies in our region to match them up with smaller businesses that want to get their foot in the door.

We’ve facilitated hundreds of one-on-one sales meetings that often lead to new contracts between large primes and local small businesses that offer products and services they need.

Contract Performance

Need help performing on a new contract? Let the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center help!

  • Our Quality Management team can help you live up to the standards expected by your customer.
  • Our engineers can troubleshoot issues to ensure your work is up to spec.

Government Contracting & Procurement

Navigating the world of government contracting can be complicated. Let us help!

We work closely with the US Small Business Administration, Regional Contracting Assistance Center (PTAC), and procurement officers for the military and government agencies.

B2B Network

The Business-to-Business Marketplace is an online clearinghouse made up of more than 1000 members of the West Virginia and Tri-State manufacturing community.

Most of the members are manufacturers that see the benefits of coming together, collaborating, interconnecting and being an integral part of a new, dynamic, electronic supply chain.

Because most members have unique strengths and capabilities that are complementary to others, by collaborating they can experience winning opportunities.

List your company’s services, capabilities, and job openings. Find or post your own contract opportunities and more.
