Metal Tech sponsors to provide industry insights during B2B event

The May 19 Tri-State Metal Tech Supply Chain Expo in Huntington, presented by the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMC) and Advantage Valley, is made possible with the generous support of industry partners who will share information about their operations and expertise during the business-to-business networking event.

As title sponsor, Mull Group of Wheeling provided major funding to support the 2026 business-to-business networking event. Founded in 1961, Mull Group is a family-owned company that manufactures and repairs rolling mill equipment, makes gears and other metal components as well as provides galvanizing services and operates a brass and bronze foundry at five machine shops in the northern West Virginia and eastern Ohio.

Haas Factory Outlet Midwest donated to provide breakfast/refreshments to attendees, while Phillips Corporation and Tri-State Industrial Supply each contributed as presenting sponsors for Metal Tech.

Haas Factory Outlet Midwest is the exclusive distributor for Haas Automation CNC machine tools, rotary products and automation in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. Haas Automation is the nation’s largest machine tool manufacturer.

Phillips Corp. is a global manufacturing solutions and services company that specializes in providing advanced machining and additive manufacturing technology. Tri-State Industrial Supply is one of the region’s largest suppliers for the construction and manufacturing sectors, with locations in Scott Depot and in Ashland, Ky.

All of the sponsors will take part in the May 19 Tri-State Metal Tech Supply Chain Expo at the Marshall University Rec Center in Huntington. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Speakers will include Katherine Moran, Director Supply Chain, Maritime Industrial Base, who will discuss supplier opportunities to support the U.S. Navy.

The expo will connect small metal-working businesses from across the region with contracting opportunities and large companies looking for new suppliers, as well as showcase the latest technology and provide a chance to network with others in the industry.

There’s no cost to participate but registration is registered at www.mfg.marshall.edu/26metaltech.
