Carmen Archer works with organizations to develop and improve their Quality and Environmental Management Systems, provides Lean assessments, and provides implementation assistance in industrial and academic environments. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Carmen started her career at SMC Electrical Products, Inc., in Huntington, W.Va., where she led Kaizen events, implemented a 5S/Visual Workplace and implemented a nearly paperless “green” system that enabled the organization to have real-time data tracking. She also assisted in creating a comprehensive training program for employees that led to a significant decrease in nonconformities, while increasing safety, production and profitability.

In addition to her Green Belt, she earned ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Lead Auditor certification, ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor certification and successfully completed the AS9100:2016 Internal Auditor Training examination. She has an Associate Degree in Accounting, a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management from Liberty University, her Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Marshall University and is a Society of Human Resource Management-Certified Professional.
