Maker Master Class: 2D Design & Laser-Cutting

The Robert C. Byrd Institute (RCBI) at Marshall University presents Maker Master Class: 2D Design & Laser-Cutting 2021.

Dec. 4th from 10 am to noon, this Hands-On! workshop is offered in-person for interaction and guidance.

This course covers free tools for digital creation, guidance on file management and processing of 2D designs for laser cutting using web-based software. For those looking to up-cycle their maker practice, a summary of engineering-level design software, processes and equipment (accessible through RCBI’s Design Engineering and Technical Services) will be provided at the end. This course is free of charge and includes activity materials.

Ages 8 and up: children, adults and beginners are welcome!
