Explore the Future at MAMC’s STEMventure Camp 2026!
Dive deep into the realms of STEM and entrepreneurship at this year’s STEMventure Camp, designed specifically for middle and high school students. This isn’t just any day camp; it’s a week-long journey of discovery and inspiration, blending workshops, hands-on projects, and an exciting field trip to a leading local manufacturer. From the fundamentals of 3D and 2D design to the intricacies of robotics and drone technology, campers will engage in a series of immersive activities that not only bolster their STEAM skills but also their creativity and innovation. With a focus on real-world applications and entrepreneurship, we’re preparing the next generation of innovators and thinkers.
Prerequisites: A spark of interest in the areas of science, technology, engineering, math, and basic computer literacy is all that’s needed! Our camp is designed for those who can engage in 30-minute lessons, follow directions, and are ready for immersive activities as well as brain-breaks!
Objectives: The goal of Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center is to provide camps that:
- Empowers youth by exploring STEAM topics and concepts through hands-on project-based learning.
- Promotes creativity and innovation in a supportive and safe environment.
- Exposes campers to challenges and equips them with the tools they can use to overcome them, reinforcing self-reliance and promoting perseverance
- Responds to workforce and economic demands by highlighting growing and emerging careers in West Virginia and the Appalachian region

- Huntington: June 1 – 5
- South Charleston: June 15 – 19
- Mason County (Must attend a Mason County Middle School): July 6-10
- Putnam County (Must be a rising Putnam County Freshman): July 20 – 24
- Wayne County (Must attend a Wayne County High School): July 27 – 31st
Every camp day runs from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm pick-up, Monday through Friday. Experience Highlights: Campers will immerse in activities like 3D design and printing, 2D design and cutting/engraving, trade skills simulations (including welding and machining), robotics, drones, and many more innovative experiences.
