Explore the Future at MAMC’s STEMventure Camp 2024!

Dive deep into the realms of STEM/STEAM and entrepreneurship at this year’s STEMventure Camp, designed specifically for middle and high school students aged 11-17 (combined). This isn’t just any day camp; it’s a week-long journey of discovery and inspiration, blending workshops, hands-on projects, and an exciting field trip to a leading local manufacturer.From the fundamentals of 3D and 2D design to the intricacies of robotics and drone technology, campers will engage in a series of immersive activities that not only bolster their STEAM skills but also their creativity and innovation. With a focus on real-world applications and entrepreneurship, we’re preparing the next generation of innovators and thinkers.

Prerequisites:A spark of interest in STEM or STEAM is all that’s needed, alongside basic computer literacy. Our camp is designed for those who can engage in 30-minute lessons, follow directions, and are ready for immersive activities as well as brain-breaks!

Dates & Times:

  • Huntington: June 10 – 14
  • South Charleston: June 24 – 28
  • Mason: July 8 – 12 (Must attend Wahama High School)
  • Ashton: July 15 – 19 (Must attend Hannan High School)
  • Point Pleasant: July 22 – 26 (Must attend Point Pleasant High School)
  • Bridgeport: August 5 – 9

Every camp day runs from 9:00 AM drop-off to 2:00 PM pick-up, Monday through Friday.

Experience Highlights: Campers will get immersed in activities like 3D design and printing, 2D design and cutting/engraving, trade skills simulations (including welding and machining), robotics, drones, and many more innovative experiences.
