RCBI is celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2020 by presenting several webinars that highlight the value of collaboration in building the manufacturing workforce.
The free, hour-long webinars will showcase RCBI’s Apprenticeship Works program. The first is offered in partnership with the National Coalition of Advanced Technology Centers (NCATC) and subsequent one is with America Makes, the nation’s leading and collaborative partner in Additive Manufacturing and 3D printing technology research, discovery, creation and innovation.
The initial webinar will focus on how Apprenticeship Works partners with local community colleges to serve manufacturers and workers by leveraging resources. This event, offered in cooperation with NCATC, is Nov. 12 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Register at https://conta.cc/3jzjCbd.
A second webinar, Nov. 18 from 2:30-3:30 p.m., will partner RCBI’s Apprenticeship Works with America Makes and will emphasize how to build an apprenticeship program tailored to a company’s needs as well as how apprenticeship programs benefit employers and employees. Apprenticeship Works at RCBI also is hosting an “Apprenticeship Works Roundup” on Nov. 11 from 11 a.m.-noon for its current group of industry partners that will include a discussion of best practices in apprenticeship programs. For more information, contact Program Manager Becky Calwell at .
