Maker Master Class 2020 at RCBI

The Robert C. Byrd Institute (RCBI) and Marshall University presents Maker Master Class: 2D Design & Laser-Cutting 2020.

Scheduled Oct. 19th from 6-7:15 pm, this Virtual Hands-On! workshop is offered via Zoom for virtual interaction and guidance.

The registration fee is $25 for each individual and includes any hands-on activity materials. Ages 8 and up: children and youth are welcome!

• Use of Google Chrome browser is required

This course covers free tools for digital creation, guidance on file management, and processing of 2D designs for laser-cut, using open-source software. For those looking to up-cycle their maker practice, a summary of engineering-level design software, processes and equipment (accessible through RCBI’s Design Engineering and Technical Services) will be provided at the end.
